Take Time to Breathe, It’s Christmas!

It’s that time of the year again when Christmas can be a time of hectic schedules, financial pressures, and the reminder of broken relationships or loved ones missing from the picture. It can be easy to allow the busyness and pressures to crush the real meaning of why we celebrate. So let’s pause (selah), take a breath, and bring perspective. You can be a carrier of joy, laughter, life, and peace.

Colossians 3:15 says, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”

Remember to tap into the deep well of Jesus today, take time to stop. If you’re stressed, or feel out of control — stop, breathe, thank God for who He is, and then look outside of yourself. Sharing the peace of God means receiving perspective from God and sharing that with others. It’s not a one-off or occasional occurrence, it’s daily. You are a carrier of God’s light and peace, everywhere you go, every day. It will not only change your day, but it will change others too.

Over the Christmas period, some of our team will have a little break, so this means our advertising will be reduced and we will have fewer conversations happening. We know Christmas time can be a lonely time for people so please be praying that we will have people on the response team at the right times to connect well with anyone that reaches out to us. We want to be able to reach more people into the New Year and expand our team. We are in the process of developing and rebranding our Why God website and I’ll look forward to sharing that with you once it’s ready to be published.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a bright New Year. Thanks again for your encouragement and support.
