In our Why God chats, we've discovered that the power of casual conversations can create meaningful connections with Explorers by fostering an environment of acknowledgement, empathy, and kindness. We've witnessed firsthand how God's love and grace can be woven into the lives of those wanting to find connection, simply by just being there with the Explorer as they share with us what is on their minds.

The key to effective engagement has been in approaching conversations with an open mind and a genuine interest in the Explorer and their current circumstances. We don’t dive straight into Christian topics or Biblical scripture, rather, we focus on building rapport by asking open-ended questions, actively listening to their stories and responding in a non-judgmental and loving way, allowing the Explorer to direct the conversation.

However, by maintaining a respectful and open dialogue, we were able to break down her barriers and introduce her to the concept of a loving God. Justine eventually expressed a desire to learn more and began exploring her faith.

• *Caitlin's Discovery: Caitlin, a young mother, was seeking purpose and direction in her life. Through casual conversations, we encouraged her to explore her faith and connected her with resources to learn more about God's plan for her.

Our amazing Responders are just normal human beings like you and me, some who have been through and can genuinely relate and respond to Explorers on a level that some don’t expect to come from a Christian platform or person. There is such a wide range of conversations that range from light-hearted and humorous chats to deep intense theological discussions. Some of these interactions truly do exhibit a remarkable harmony. It’s such an honour to witness God at work.

By creating a safe and welcoming space, we've been able to offer a listening ear to those in need, even those who initially come in hostile. Our goal is to help explorers feel valued, heard, understood, and connected.
