Good Things Do Take Time

Young vibrant smiling lady

It was this time two years ago that we launched our Roaring Hope website! I’ve been taking time to reflect and look at how far we have come, together with the perseverance, and people who have given their time to get there.

I’m reminded of the Mainland cheese ad from years ago when I lived in New Zealand “Good things take time”. This advertising campaign was intended to highlight the quality and craftsmanship of Mainland cheese and how the brand's dedication to patience and time in the cheese-making process results in a superior product. It's a beloved and iconic commercial in New Zealand and has become associated with the idea that taking the time to do something right is worth it!

There have been many times over this journey for me personally where I have wondered if I could keep going. Every single time though I’ve talked to God about it and He’s always given me answers. If you’re reading this now, you are one of those answers! Thank you.

Sometimes we think our efforts don’t make the difference, but every little step is part of the journey.

We have countless stories of lives that are different because of Roaring Hope and I know we have so many more to come. Here’s a public post taken from our Why God FB page that I hope you will find encouraging.

FB feedback on post

Every single person who has gotten involved in Roaring Hope has stepped out of their comfort zone in one way or another and with every step there have been results!

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

Could you pray with us? We often have people that are not ready to connect with a church. Pray for a network of people where we can introduce a buddy/friend who would walk alongside Explorers for a season online or over a video or phone call regularly to encourage them and to read the Bible with them. If this is you, or you know of people that would like to do this please let us know!

Thanks for your support.
