Abigail’s Story

Roaring Hope started from a project that commenced in 2016 called "Why God". We set up a FB page with ads that gave people an opportunity to connect. Abigail is now married with 2 children and thriving.

Abigail first connected with Why God in December of 2016 after responding to a Facebook post that simply said, “Need to Find a Church”. “I walked into church hungover the first day and am graced by the fact that God says to come as you are. I surely did!” Here’s her story

"Sunday morning at church was quite a special moment as I got to meet Morag - the woman God used to guide me into church through an amazing online platform that helps people grow a closer relationship with Jesus, answers their questions, and more.

God had led Morag to create an offer on the Why God Facebook page to help locate a local church. So, I clicked and started talking as I felt it was time to find a church God wanted me to be in. Morag contacted a church on my behalf, who then got in contact with me.

This was December 2016-January 2017. I still had hesitation, but on 4th February I took the step into church and have never looked back since.

I walked into church hungover the first day and am graced by the fact that God says to come as you are. I surely did! The journey since that first day has been truly amazing and, over two years later, I was able to meet Morag in person.

Even more amazing is the news that I am joining Morag and her team to train as a response volunteer for the Why God Facebook page."
