As You Stay Faithful to God’s Promises the Giants of the Land Will Fall

This week God reminded me to hold fast to His promises and the words He has spoken. It’s easy to get intimidated by circumstances around us and what we see with our physical eyes.

In the Bible, the book of Numbers recounts the story of the 12 spies going into the land of Canaan. God had told them they were to take the land. When they came back only 2 spies, Joshua and Caleb said it was possible. The others backed down because of what they saw. The fruit was plentiful but the people, ‘the giants’ of the land, were huge. God however had promised they could take the land.

Numbers 14:20-38 goes on to tell us not only did the spies suffer for their faithlessness but so did their children. How great was the reward of Joshua and Caleb and their descendants!

In February we kicked off the testing of ads on the Why God Facebook page. Our response team is growing and we have a wonderful team of people new to the Response Team that are stepping out for the first time in chatting to Explorers.

Your partnership is valued and appreciated. It costs around $5.00 in advertising and system costs to start a conversation with one Explorer, and every Responder will handle multiple conversations each week. The service is offered free to young adults across Australia and New Zealand, and is only possible through the generous support of donors. Thanks again for your support and encouragement.
